An Interactive Gantt Chart, similar to the Linear Chart can now be displayed, where non-summary, non-completed and non-completed parts of  started Tasks can be repositioned along the time line, using the mouse, within the Time Now and Completion Date limits. Similarly, the Start and Finish of a Task and thus the  Duration can also be changed.

To select and move a Task, click on the centre of the Bar using the left mouse button and hold it down. The Start and Finish dates and Times of the Bar, together with its Duration will be displayed just below the Time Line at the top of the screen. Drag the BAR to its new Start and release the mouse button. The Start and Finish Times will be corrected to suit the Calendar Shift pattern.

To select and move just the Start or Finish Date and Time, click on the start or end of the Bar using the left mouse button, hold it down and drag it to its new position.

The following rules apply:-

1. Completed or the completed part of a Started Task are shown using a blue Bar. This Task cannot be moved or changed.
2. Completed or the completed part of a Summary Task are shown using a blue Line. This Task cannot be moved or changed.
3. The non-completed part of a Summary Task is shown using an orange Line. This Task cannot be moved or changed.
4. Critical Tasks are shown using a red Bar.
5. The non-completed parts of critical Started Tasks are shown using a red Bar.
6. Super-Critical Tasks (Tasks wit negative Total Float) are shown using a dark red Bar.
7. The non-completed parts of Super Critical Tasks are shown using a dark red Bar.
8. Non-Critical Tasks are shown using a green Bar.
9. The non-completed parts of non-critical Started Tasks are shown using a green Bar.
10. A Stretched/Extended Tasks is shown in two parts, a hatched green Bar and a solid green bar.
11. The solid section represents the  Early Finish of the Task minus its Planned/Remaining Duration.
12. The hatched section shows the time period between the Early Start of the Task and the start of the solid section.
13. Only the solid section can be moved, the hatched section will be adjusted to suit the new position of the solid section.
