Colour Selector
The Colour Selector option has two sub-options Library Colours or Custom Colour.
When Custom Colour is selected the Microsoft Windows Colour Dialog is displayed. This option replaces the double-click on the Tasks table colour cell or colour text boxes.
When Colour Selection/Library Colours is selected then a Table Dialog appears showing the Microsoft Windows System Colours and the ChainLink Library Colours.
The Table Dialog comprises three tables, System, Project and Personal . To switch between the tables click on the appropriate tab name at the top of the table.
To select a Colour click on the appropriate row of the displayed table and then click the Apply button, the Colour will be applied to the selected Task(s) and the dialog will disappear. If System or the Personal library is used the selected Colour will be added to the Project library.
The System colours are Named Colours provided by Microsoft Windows, once used the names can be changed, if desired, in the Project library.
This
Colour Selection function can also be used by the
Bar Codes,
Colours and
Resource libraries and for colours in the
Chart Options.
